Boundaries are advisory. Verify hunting eligibility with NSW Forestry Corp / VIC Game Management Authority before every hunt. Hunting in any NSW national park is an offence under the NP&W Act 1974. VIC deer hunting in parks is permitted only in designated parks per the Wildlife (Game) Regulations — STALKR does not maintain the eligibility list. You are solely responsible for compliance with all firearms, licensing, seasonal, and access laws.

What we collect
Sighting data you enter (species, sign type, date, count, notes). GPS coordinates only when you explicitly tap "capture" or use the GPS track button. Photos only when you attach them. Your subscription tier (during beta: none).

Where it lives
Everything stays on your device, in your browser's IndexedDB and localStorage. We do not have user accounts and we do not sync your data anywhere by default.

What leaves your device
• Anonymous weather lookups to api.open-meteo.com (rounded to a ~10 km grid).
• Public boundary queries to NSW Forestry Corp and VIC DEECA ArcGIS endpoints.
• Tile requests to Esri / OpenStreetMap / NSW SixMaps for map imagery.
• If you tap 🐛 REPORT BUG: an email containing the last 30 captured JS errors and your User-Agent. Nothing else is sent automatically.

What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't run third-party trackers or ad SDKs. We don't share your sightings with anyone. We don't track you across other apps or sites.

Your rights
Export everything via JOURNAL → 💾 JSON BACKUP. Delete everything by clearing site data in your browser settings. Questions: privacy@stalkr.app.

When we add accounts/sync after beta, we'll publish an updated policy and you'll see it before opting in.

1. Beta software
STALKR is closed-beta software. Expect bugs, expect changes, and back up your data via JOURNAL → JSON BACKUP.

2. Boundaries are advisory
Forest, park, and reserve boundaries are sourced from public NSW and VIC government endpoints. They may be out of date, simplified, or wrong. You must verify hunting eligibility with NSW Forestry Corporation and the VIC Game Management Authority before every hunt. STALKR does not authorise hunting access.

3. Hunt legally and safely
You are solely responsible for compliance with all firearms laws, hunting licences, R-licence requirements, declared deer-hunt zones, seasonal restrictions, bag limits, and landowner permissions. Hunting in a NSW national park is an offence under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974.

4. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" with no warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, fine, or damage arising from your use of STALKR — including reliance on boundaries, AI predictions, weather data, or GPS positioning.

5. Acceptable use
Don't use STALKR to break the law, harass anyone, hunt on private land without permission, or hunt protected species. We can suspend access to anyone who does.

6. Changes
We can update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
